Spiritual Warfare: Fighting God's Way

It’s time we rise up and fight – God’s way! We can no longer be complacent about and ignorant of the wickedness consuming this world. We are at war, and no one is exempt from battle! So we must understand spiritual warfare and the weapons that defeat the darkness of this world. For we have weapons for this warfare that are not of this world.

Spiritual Warfare: How to Fight God’s Way is a continuation of The Serpent On The Pole: Covid-19. Whether you suffer side effects from the Covid-19 shots or are sick from other diseases, there is healing for you. If your children despise you, there is a battle plan available to you!

I provide the first three steps to receiving healing in my blog The Serpent On The Pole: Covid-19. The first step is to repent – life changes that lead to following the Ways of Yehovah and His Torah. The second step is to build faith by hearing the Word of God. The third step is prayer. I will briefly review some of these steps and provide testimonials to demonstrate the power of Elohim (God) in these actions. But our primary focus is drawing closer to Yehovah, which requires the condition of our hearts being cleansed and changed.

Building Faith

The second step of the nine-step battle plan is to build faith. And building faith (emunah) is hearing the Word of Elohim (God), Romans 10:17. Consider a testimony by John G. Lake when he received a revelation of a verse and proclaimed it aloud:

Then Lake turned to Luke 13:16 and read: “And ought not this woman… whom SATAN HATH BOUND, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond… ?”

In boldness that only the Holy Spirit could have produced, Lake decided to let God, not Satan, have the final say. He marched into the bedroom and declared to the seen and to the unseen that his wife would be healed at exactly 9:30 a.m.!

Then he contacted Dowie to inform him of what God was about to do at the appointed time. When 9:30 arrived, Lake knelt at his precious wife Jennie’s side and called on the Living God. When he did, the power of God came upon Jennie and permeated her body from head to foot. Her paralysis left, her heartbeat became normal, her cough ceased, her breathing regulated, and her temperature returned to normal – immediately!

Prayer

The third step is prayer. Prayer is powerful. Consider this testimony by John G. Lake on the topic of prayer:

I said to them [scientists], “Gentlemen, I want you to see one more thing. Go down to your hospital and bring back a man who has inflammation in the bone. Take your instrument and attach it to his leg. Leave enough space to get my hand on his leg. You can attach it to both sides.”

When the instrument was ready, I put my hand on the man’s shin and prayed like Mother Etter prays: no strange prayer, but the cry of my heart to God. I said, “God, kill the devilish disease by Your power. Let the Spirit move in him; let it live in him.”

Then I asked, “Gentlemen, what is taking place?”

They replied, “Every cell is responding” (emphasis mine).

Pray with earnestness. Pray with passion. And especially, pray the Word of Elohim (God)!

Fasting And Prayer

In addition to the first three, there are six additional steps to actualize. The next part of the plan is Fasting and Prayer. Isaiah 58:6 reads, “Is this not the fast that I have chosen: to loosen the tight cords of wrongness, to undo the bands of the yoke, to exempt the oppressed, and to break off every yoke?”

“Fasting is like turning the volume knob down on our flesh, and turning it up in the spirit. We gain authority, clarity, and closeness with God.”

Praise And Worship

The fifth step is Praise and Worship. Consider the circumstances of our friend, Marcel. Marcel is a phenomenal worship leader! However, Marcel’s medical prognosis is two months or less to live. Instead of staying at home, depressed, he is out leading praise and worship, doing what Yehovah’s instructed him to do!

Consider my blog The Power Of God Is In Your Singing wherein I define the Hebrew word זמר (zamar) as having a double meaning of might and song. Then, there are those individuals actually given a unique gift of power-singing! In fact, at James 5:13 in The Hebrew Book of James, I found that it appears we are obligated to sing with the power of Elohim (God)!⁶ So, what is holding us back? We, ourselves. Yehovah is ALWAYS worthy of our praises! His worthiness is not contingent upon our condition!

Aimee Semple McPherson: A Woman Of Destiny

Consider the case of Aimee Semple McPherson. Aimee was a woman of great faith in the early 1900’s. One day, a lamp exploded in her face. She quickly plunged her head into a bucket of water, but not before blisters developed on her neck and face. To make matters worse, all of this happened as hecklers were jeering. The tent was full the night this occurred, so she exited behind it, in great pain. One of the hecklers jumped on the platform and said, “The lady who preaches divine healing has been hurt. And she burned her face, so there will be no meeting tonight.”

But right after he said it, Aimee furiously rushed in through the tent flaps and leapt on the platform. She was in agony, but was able to draw enough strength to sit down at the piano and cry out, “I praise the Lord who heals me and takes all the pain away!” Then, within two or three stanzas of the song, the crowd witnessed a miracle: Aimee’s face went from lobster red to the color of normal flesh!

Calling Upon The Name Of Yehovah

The sixth step is calling upon the Name of Yehovah, my most favorite battle plan. In my blog Yehovah: His Name Reveals The Glory I explain that calling upon His Name reveals not only His glory but also brings deliverance!

“And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of Yehovah shall be delivered. For on Mount Zion and in Yerushalayim there shall be an escape as Yehovah has said, and among the survivors whom Yehovah calls” (emphasis mine).

Joel 2:32

Set Free By Calling Upon The Name

Consider this testimony from 2020, when Paul Wilbur and Troy Brewer performed at The Coming King Foundation in Kerrville, Texas. Troy Brewer testified about being young and selling moonshine, and having an altercation with a drug dealer from those activities. One evening the drug dealer and his friends came to Troy’s house and beat him nearly to death. Troy, with multiple broken bones, was locked in the trunk of their car

Troy had his hands and feet tied behind his back and was taken to the Brazos River in Texas and thrown over the bridge. The river was only a few feet deep, and Troy was stuck in the mud, face down. At that moment, he said he heard the sweetest voice, saying, “Call upon the name of the LORD to be saved” (see Joel chap 2). But Troy didn’t know the name of Yehovah – the only name he knew was the name of Jesus. He quickly decided to call upon the name he knew. So, he took a deep breath and cried out, “Jesus!”

When Troy opened his eyes, he was standing upright, with the ropes dangling from his arms!

Shofar Blast

The seventh step is the blowing of the shofar. When I think of the shofar blast, I think of the testimonies of Robert Weinger. I am in awe of Robert’s many testimonies about miracles from the blowing of the shofar! In fact, Robert has a testimony of blowing the shofar and a 5.3 earthquake occurring in Israel.⁷

Interestingly, in a recent battle against witchcraft, a few of us in November of 2022 blew the shofar in Kerrville, Texas. And our first shofar blast occurred concurrently with a 5.3 earthquake in Texas!

For this reason I read Nehemiah 4:20 daily, followed by blowing my shofar before prayer. In fact, I also carry my concealed weapon (a small ram’s horn) in my purse, just for those emergencies! And, if you do not have a shofar, Robert Weinger at Shofar So Great sells kosher shofars for a reasonable price.⁸

“In whatever place you hear the voice of the shophar, join us there. Our Elohim fights for us.”

Nehemiah 4:20

Intercession

Intercessory prayer is essential. In fact, in Ezekiel 22 Yehovah mandates that we intercede on behalf of others and on behalf of the land in which we dwell:

“And I sought for a man among them who would make a wall and stand in the breach before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it – but I did not find one! Therefore, I have poured out My displeasure on them, I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath. And I have put their way on their own head,” declares the Master Yehovah.

Ezekiel 22:30-31

For The Dedicated

Lastly, for the dedicated, I offer one additional important step: If you are serious about your relationship with your Elohim (God), then I recommend your taking the covenant vows to Yehovah the children of Israel took 3,500 years ago (Exodus 19-24). Understand, however, that this is a solemn commitment and should be taken seriously. If you tell Yehovah you will do “all Yehovah has commanded,” you will be held accountable for your vows! Conclusion

All things considered, it is the condition of our hearts that matters. All steps provided are for those who diligently seek Yehovah with their hearts, minds, and souls. I also provide documents attached to this blog to help you with your battle plan. The documents are a list of some of my daily scripture readings, a sample prayer, and a tool to judge “spirits” according to the Word. With the defined steps and tools, you will certainly see Yehovah move in your life as you diligently seek Him! For it is Yehovah who fights, heals, and delivers!
